Border wall construction resuming: The administration is using funds appropriated in 2021 to build seven miles of border wall in south Texas, potentially including a segment running through (and opposed by) a private butterfly reserve. “Gap-filling” projects are also getting underway near Nogales, Arizona, and San Diego, California.
