I stumbled upon this video from Glenn Beck, of all people, agreeing with my thesis that the main goal is booting the communists from the oil fields. He calls it a new Monroe Doctrine. Secondary goal is drug trafficking; third goal is regime change so a lot of Venezuelan refugees in America will voluntarily repatriate [as Maria Machado is confident they will do]. This agenda also explains the support for Milei in Argentina, because you know the commies are backing the Peronistas.

Here's one of the comments that caught my eye:

"Of course, is this the case. I´m from Brasil, and we understand that, me and many people here are wishing success on this intent, because we understand that this will keep us free from evil regimes, and as secondary benefit this is going to be a big help to deal with the cartels. Unfortunately, many Brazilians do not understand this. Anyway, good luck, Mr. Trump."

Excellent. Looking forward to it!

Also, I think a snappy comeback to all the people who are saying that our military is blowing up "fishermen" for sport, and such activity is an unprovoked act of war: What do you call it when foreign governments make billions off the drug trade to America for decades, and their leaders have not a word to say about what their own citizens are doing? Suddenly sinking cartel boats is an act of war? Go back to sleep.

I don't think these are fishermen. I can't really see Americans behaving that way. We all know the infamous story of Lt. Calley in Vietnam; lesser known is who stopped the massacre while it was happening, and how they did so. I'm sure you know, but most people never learned.
