This looks to be part of a broader plan to combine cartel offensives with geopolitical ambitions.

What's good for General Motors is good for America. In this case what's good for protecting US energy firms in LatAm is also a good excuse to begin the long-overdue expulsion of CCP soft power. First in Venezuela, now expanding to Argentina to support Milei, since the CCP sees opportunity to back his union-cartel opponents while protecting profitable cocaine exports to Europe.

Best way to kill two birds by robbing both the Chinese and the cartel operators of their funding. That should pave a clear path for a new era of US hegemony, hopefully more benign than the one we enjoyed a century ago with the United Fruit Company. In any case, everyone prefers to do business with us rather than China.

And LatAm cannot break free of socialist tyranny without neutering their cartel guerrillas.

Jack , I totally support bombing drug cartels out of the water. I'm so glad we have a President closing the borders and stopping drug cartels from trafficking their poison. Thank you, Jack for your service to us Patriots.
