"Non-Stop" Migrant Deportations Reported Underway Along Border
"President Trump is sending a strong and clear message" his Press Secretary says.

The Chief Patrol Agent of the US Border Patrol Rio Grande Valley Sector in South Texas reports migrants who illegally entered the United States are being returned "non-stop" to the countries from which they came.
Gloria Chavez says that more than 735 illegal aliens from countries such as Cuba, Honduras, Venezuela, Haiti, Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala, and El Salvador have been "repatriated" in the last two days alone.

These scenes are being repeated elsewhere along the US Southern Border with Mexico. The US Defense Department released photos of a military airlift by U.S. Northern Command/U.S. Transportation Command of Guatemalans being returned to their country at Tucson International Airport:

A similar scene was documented by the US Border Patrol in Yuma, Arizona:
Both US Customs & Border Protection (CBP) and The White House have been posting scene after scene on social media to get the word out about the repatriation flights - as well as the arrival of additional US troops on the border:
Although it appears the pace of these forced repatriations are increasing - they are not new.
In 2024, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement – Enforcement and Removal Operations (ICE-ERO) operated more than 495 international repatriation flights from June through the end of December. In fiscal year (FY) 2024, DHS completed roughly 700,000 removals and returns, more than any prior fiscal year since 2010.
These repatriation flights have been occurring for many years now, as evidenced by this social media post by US Customs & Border Protection four years ago:
Even so, The White House is anxious to get the word out about what appears to be an increased pace of repatriation flights now underway.
On Friday, January 24, 2025 White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt posted photos of Guatemalans being loaded aboard military aircraft at Biggs Army Airfield in El Paso for return to their country - accompanied by the following message:
"Deportation flights have begun. President Trump is sending a strong and clear message to the entire world: if you illegally enter the United States of America, you will face severe consequences." -White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt
Not all of the flights have gone smoothly. Mexico this week refused to allow two US military aircraft returning migrants to that country to land following what the US State Department called a "miscommunication" between the two countries. A third plane in the US set to return other migrants to Mexico never took off.
Fox News reports that "Mexico was ready to accept the deportees and would have if not for the paperwork" issues that interrupted the process.
What are your thoughts about the repatriation flights underway along the US Southern Border?
