Not very concerned. Since over and over it’s been documented that illegal immigrants are far less likely to commit crimes than the average American. The Trump adm using this issue as a scare tactic. Should dangerous illegals be found and arrested and charged? Sure, absolutely. But I’m no more and probably less concerned about illegals than other groups.

Data updated April 1, 2025

About 17,000 in fiscal year (FY) 2024. This number of criminal noncitizen arrests — now referred to by US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) as criminal alien arrests — represents 1.1% of all border apprehensions by the US Border Patrol (USBP) through September 2024, the end of the federal fiscal year. Because one person may be arrested multiple times in the same fiscal year, it’s possible to have more arrests than people arrested.

In FY 2024

17K

arrests of people with a prior conviction at the border

In FY 2024

1.6M

total apprehensions at the border

In FY 2024

1.1%

of all apprehensions were of people with a prior criminal conviction

Oh, let’s not kill the son-of-a-bitch! We, the tax payers want to put him on an air conditioned jet airplane, and fly him home (safely of course). Of course it is great that the POS was caught, but we have a lot of vacant national lands, and our buzzards need to eat too, plus it’s a world cheaper, makes sense, and guarantees he won’t get out of his (as Pres. put it) shit/hole country again.
