How US Border News offers better coverage than "Mainstream Media"
And how you can help us grow!
Next month, US Border News celebrates one year on the Substack platform!
During that time, we have achieved recognition as a Google News source and a Bing.com news source.
Thanks to you, we have met our first-year Substack distribution goals.
Still, we are just short of achieving our secondary goal of 1,000 (free) subscribers, which we believe will unlock additional distribution on this platform (more on that later).
When we first began publishing here (and before that on Newsbreak a year earlier), we focused primarily on singular daily events along the US-Mexico Southern Border.
As the US established control over that formerly contested space, we have shifted to covering trends rather than just events along the border, as most competitors do.
Our goal is to deliver depth vs daily developments as many others do.
An example of this is our most recent article.
While most mainstream outlets (such as Fox News & NewsNation) reported the seizure of a large number of weapons & ammo being smuggled to a Mexican Cartel through Laredo, Texas, we exclusively reported that this seizure is part of a larger group of seizures of cartel guns & cash, which began last month in South Texas (depriving the cartels of more than $2 million dollars in profits from their illegal US operations).

We have not seen this reported by other US news outlets. This perspective is an exclusive offering to our US Border News (free) subscribers and readers.
Additionally, we have offered a half-dozen free “in-depth” reports exclusively via USBorderNews.com including:
First immigrant drop since the 1960’s also noted.
Also: Fentanyl smuggling has peaked
Illegal population drop also noted
Up 54% from prior six months
PLUS: We have published more than 40 (FREE) weekly newsletters recapping the most recent border security & immigration news (as well as looking ahead to issues expected to come).
None of this would be possible without you, and for that, we are EXTREMELY grateful!
Which brings us to increasing our free subscription numbers (and which we mentioned earlier).
We are just 150 free subscribers away from reaching our initial goal of 1,000 subscribers (which we believe will unlock additional distribution on the Substack platform).
With your support, we are confident we will get there. Here’s what you can do to help:

Our goal is to deliver US Border Security & Immigration News you can’t get anywhere else!
(How are we doing so far? Feel free to share your opinions in the comments to this article).
Abrazos,
Jack Beavers,
US Border News Editor
