So, these migrants typically pay a cartel one fee for transportation through Mexico and another for a "guide" to cross them into the US. It's likely that, in this case, one of the cartels got greedy and decided to move all these people in "one large load," so they only had to pay one driver. The migrants each faced a choice: balk at going into the trailer & you lose whatever you already paid the cartel & become stuck in Mexico, far from the US border.
It’s like they don’t value their lives. Getting double crossed in life happens everyday. Their outlook and views became delusional and thinking a truck trailer is the answer 🥲
Oh Jack, that was a close call! People are desperate to get to the USA. Thank the Lord that they were saved from certain death. I hope people realize that this is a great country desired by many people of foreign countries. Immigration must happen the legal way. Just like our ancestors came to America 🇺🇸 legally.
Yes, that was a close call - and, as you correctly observed, it shows how desperate many are to reach the US. Thanks again for subscribing & commenting!
See my answer to Margaret above. Thanks for asking about my hand! It's still quite painful, but I am recovering more use little by little. I was able to sign my name (badly) for the first time since the accident.
Jack: I know the feeling when your hand won’t sign the way it always has before!! I spent 10 days in ICU and could hardly walk, stand or write!! And I was 20 years younger. Really changed my perspective of life. I hope your perspective is as positive going forward as you share in your Substack. Spring is the healing season as well as a growing time. 🙏

I agree! Will we ever know what the incentive was? Were they paid? Did they pay??
A much better ending for those people.
Jack: How’s your recovery and healing progressing? 🙏
